Still growing? Still connected to the Body? It’s easy to get caught up in life, to forget the love that first motivated us to believe and follow. When we start serving, it’s important that we don’t forget who we are, whose we are, and why we serve in the first place. We don’t do anything for our own glory, it’s all to the glory of God.

God gives us His Spirit to convict, to transform our hearts, and to empower us to do His work. We are called to be baptized in the Spirit, constantly submerged. If you haven’t been filled with the Holy Spirit, now’s the perfect time. Ask for prayer! We can’t do anything without Jesus; we need His Spirit to walk activated in our gifts and to serve His Church.

Where is God asking you to be His hands and feet? A good place to start is by asking, “What am I passionate about?” God created you with gifts and with passions and

He wants to use them. Maybe it’s kids or youth ministry, worship team, tech team, media, life group leading or hospitality, honestly the list of possibilities goes on!
