God sent His Son, in His love for us, to die for our sin, our pain, our suffering, to reunite us with God. Our selfishness separated us; the selflessness of Jesus reunites us. Baptism is an outward declaration of an inward faith. It’s you declaring to the church family that you believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus and want to follow Him. It’s near impossible to grow in your walk with Jesus on your own. We need other perspectives, people at different places in their relationships with Jesus. This is why we have Life Groups, a place during the week to dive deeper into the Sunday sermon and grow in all things life and faith.
